Operated by the Colonial Beach Historical Society, this museum is situated in a circa 1890 Victorian cottage and it is dedicated to the preservation of Colonial Beach and the local Potomac River history. The museum traces the town’s history from the appearance of Captain John Smith in 1608 to the present and it contains historic photographs, artifacts, and one-of-a-kind memorabilia.
