A Stratford Hall Christmastide. Celebrate the season in another century. Enjoy optional carriage rides around the Oval, listen to fiddle and harpsichord music, make a “holly wish,” and visit with members of George Washington’s Young Friends who will be inviting you to join them in holiday merriment in the Visitor Center. You may be invited to dance, take part in a game of chance, or simply to chat about life in the Northern Neck. Experience the Great House and grounds as the Lees host their holiday festivities. Make merriment with the Rappahannock Colonial Heritage Society dancers in the Great Hall. Colonel Phil and Mrs. Lee will greet guests in the Stratford Dining Room and Preservation Gallery at the Visitor Center.
Hours for the event are 4:30-8:30 PM. Admission is $10 adults/$5 children.
